We stayed here with a group of friends . The location is perfect for enjoying the sites of Rockport and Camden. The staff was friendly and our rooms were immaculate and comfy. It was a little chilly for the pool but we enjoyed sitting poolside with books. This was a great find.

I was looking for a one night getaway and opted for the Island View Inn over another nearby resort and so glad I did. The view of the bay from the room was just spectacular and the Inn was adorable in every way. Very clean and the amenities you need for a getaway. The porch is a great place to sit and unwind, their is also a small fridge in the bathroom, which we didn't use but would be very convenient and hot coffee is served in the morning in the lobby. Just a perfect escape. Would highly recommend!

We spent two nights here during an anniversary trip to Rockport/Camden and it was the perfect hotel for our needs - better than we expected, actually. The spacious room was clean and nicely decorated, and the view from the enclosed patio is breathtaking! We enjoyed a bottle of wine and some cheese on the patio and enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs down by the water's edge to soak up the fall sun. This has to be one of the best finds for the price in this area. My only suggestion would be to provide guests, or the front desk staff, with a list of breakfast restaurant options. The place suggested to us turned out to be always closed on that day. But we'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

What's not to like? Great location, sparkling clean and tastefully designed and appointed rooms, wonderful view of Penobscot Bay, heated pool with infinity edge and friendly, accommodating staff. This is our umpteenth visit and it never lets us down.
