Everything was great from the friendly and helpful staff to the extremely clean room. The continental breakfast was wonderful and the grounds nicely kept. Enjoyed our stay so much we booked a week in the summer.

Thank you so much for sharing your kind words, and we are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. The best measurement that we are doing things right, is our large number of repeat guests. We look forward to seeing you again this summer.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and was very pleased with our room and the friendly staff. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. We weren't able to use the deck which was right outside our door as it was a little too cool in the evening. I would highly recommend this property and if ever I go back to the area again will certainly stay there. Although they had a continental breakfast we only had coffee and that was Green Mountain which is a favorite of ours.

My daughter and I have stayed in the summer at Glen Cove for the past 7-8 years as part of a mother/daughter weekend. It has always been a special time for us and the 'cove' is a major part of the experience. From sitting on the adirondack chairs overlooking the bay, to the delicious free breakfast and immaculate rooms as well as the extraordinarily hospitable staff and reasonable price...it can't be beat. Its close proximity to Camden makes it a perfect spot for exploring the coast. I hope we will be able to continue our wonderful weekends for many years to come at this great little spot!

Room Tip: any room will be clean and efficient... if you want a view ask for bay view. They also have a coupl...

We were delighted with our stay at Glen Cove Inn and Suites.

We visited in October and stayed for 3 nights. A very nice location with a nice view from the end of the property over Glen Cove. Good accomodation in individual chalets. Staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable, clean and decorated very well. A nice continental breakfast is provided in the rate and can be taken either on the terrace or taken back in your room.

The weather was starting to get cooler at this time of year but the heater in our room was more than adequate.

There are some nice places to visit within a short drive from this location and some good places to eat and shop. Rockland, Camden and Belfast are all within 30 minutes drive and there are some wonderful coastal views..

Only down side was the lack of any tea or coffee making facilities in the room but this is available in the lobby area 24 hours a day.

We will stay here again next time we are in Maine.

Room Tip: Ask for a plan of the layout and choose one which you may prefer.

We stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of October. It was a pleasant surprise for a motel because when you think of motels you think grubby looking hotels/motels on the side of a busy road!

This place is very comfortable and quiet (although it could be due to the time of year) and is more like a hotel than a motel. It is in a good location (within easy reach of Camden, Mount Battie and Owl's Head etc). The room was large with a tv, fridge, plush surroundings and en suite bathroom. It had a nice large bathroom with a hairdryer, Pantene and Nivea shampoo/body lotion, towels etc. There is plenty of parking space and you can park right in front of your roo. All of the rooms are on one level (ground) with only 3-4 steps up to get to the porch leading to the rooms.

The breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of muffins, cakes, bread, Maine doughnuts, fruit, cereals, yoghurts, tea and coffee.

Just be warned that the breakfast area is outside under a porch and although they had overhead heaters, I can imagine that it would be challenging to eat here during rainy or particularly cold days. Also, there is no real view of the Atlantic ocean.

Rockport is very small but cute (it doesn't have a good selection of restaurants here). We went to Moody's Diner for dinner which is well worth a visit for cheap eats.

This little place was great. The rooms were amazingly clean and very pretty. Nice size rooms. We paid a little extra for a water view which was disappointing. You could see water, but only of you looked very hard into the distance, I think my opinion of this may also be taint slightly by the fact that it was raining and quite miserable. Breakfast was very fresh and inviting. Even with the rain the balcony where breakfast is served was a nice place to sit and eat or we were told to feel free to take to out rooms. Front desk were great on check in and out.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 10. It is right beside to pool and I think there would be a lot of noise for a sle...

We stayed here several years ago on our anniversary and decided to find it again on this recent trip. The folks are very nice, the price is reasonable and each 'cottage' (they are all attached) is quaint and clean. Bathrooms are a little small and the floor creaky in spots, but furnishings are so pretty. It was rather chilly but the breakfast bar was on the outside porch, not much room. Good food, but no room, so we took it back to our room. There were two wicker chairs in our room and that's the only complaint...........wish they'd get some decent thick cushions to make them more comfy. Would stay again! I will mark service down a tad because we had nothing to set our suitcase on, most hotels have that fold-up thing. We called to ask for one and they said sorry, and that was it!

Room Tip: We always take a noise machine with us on trips, in case there is any noise with late-night arrivals...
