“Fantastic all around!!!!”

From reservations to check out, there was nothing they could've done to make it better!!! We stayed in a pet-friendly room and it was perfect. There were no pet smells or stains. This was the cleanest pet-friendly room we've stayed in. The staff was very friendly and super efficient. Thr breakfast was great with many choices to choose from. We will stay here again or sure. The view and the beautifully landscaped grounds alone were worth the trip. Thanks Matt for the wonderful experience!!!! You made our business trip a true mini weekend vacation.

Room Tip: There were many different types of rooms. They all had dferent looks and cute unique touches. From...

Stayed here in mid-October when the weather was getting a little chilly. This motel has a very nice view and had the weather been better we could have just spent the time on our little deck. Having said this, eating the continental breakfast on the outside deck was a little chilly. The propane heater was not working the two mornings that we were there. Breakfast was fine; plenty of cereal, yogurt, english muffins, hard boiled eggs, and juice/coffee/tea. We took a tray and ate in our room.

My only comment would be that the staff needs to keep an eye on the food supply. A few of us were looking around for items that were short supply (cups, coffee, etc.) while the woman in charge was busy on the computer. Because she was not on the deck, she did not realize that they had run out of these items.

The rooms were fine. There was no tub in our bathroom, but some of the other rooms seemed to have tubs.

Price was right for this time of year. I would go again, next time taking a summer vacation!

Room Tip: Newer section might have bathtubs. Ask, if this is important.

We had what we considered the best place at the location. Our suite overlooked the bay, had a large porch with chairs, and was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The location was excellent for us, as it was centrally located for all the areas we wanted to visit. The breakfasts were nice, but it was a little cool in the morning, as the breakfast is served on an outside patio with a propane heater. We were extremely happy with the overall experience.

I thought the motel was well kept. It said partial water view, which was a stretch. There were a few chairs at the end of where rooms were, which was phenomenal. I woke up early at dawn and took some great sunrise photos. The breakfast was moderate, but a good add to the low rate for the room.
The inn keeper was a bit on the cold side, but it was all business. The only real down part were the housekeeping staff. Early around breakfast, they swarmed around, preparing to clean rooms. On a few occasions, the curtains were wide open, despite me closing them, which made me a bit paranoid that people could see into the room.
All in all, would totally stay there again. Very close to Camden and there were more pluses than minuses. It was great to have a little front and back porch.

Room Tip: I would pay extra for full water view.

Glen Cove Inn and Suites is a place that seems to have been accommodating tourists for a long time and has the best of "old-fashioned" features. The rooms are almost like cottages on a central "street," the end of which looks out on Glen Cove of Penobscot Bay. The buildings are attractive and well maintained, in cheery white and blue colors. The nicely appointed and very clean rooms had plenty of space. Each room has its own small porch with a table and a couple of chairs. A buffet breakfast with very good choices of breakfast foods and also very good coffee is served on the sheltered deck in front of the office, complete with outdoor heaters for cool weather. The hotel is easy to find and is in a charming area of the south coast of Maine. This is a place we would gladly come back to and recommend to others.

When I booked my two night stay at Glen Cove, I was at the mercy of the tripadvisor reviews. They didn't let me down.

Glencove is located in the middle of the Camden/Rockport area. This makes it a great location for just about any activity. We could be at a lighthouse or a mountaintop in 10 minutes.

The place is older, but very well maintained. The grounds are meticulously kept. The rooms are slightly dated, but clean and relaxing. Every room has it's own little patio.

There is a great view from the rooms and breakfast area.

I highly recommend this stay.

We stayed at Glen Cove Inn & Suites for three days. The location for us was great for visiting Pemaquid Peninsula, Rockland, and Camden. Rooms were roomy but the bathroom was small. We had a rear deck which was a nice area to relax. The continental breakfast was average with a reasonable selection of breakfast items.
