Our friends and us rented Cabins at camp Megunticook and we were all really happy. This place is a little slice of HEAVEN. Just down the hill is a sitting area that overlooks the bay HOW BEAUTIFUL!!
I had heard BAD REVIEWS but our friends booked so we went with it. When we saw the cute little cabins we were quite surprised at how adorable they were. We bought our own microwave , coffee maker and cooking stove. ALSO a small microwave and heater. The cabins are equipped with electric , a full bed and a twin bunker. We had all the comforts of home. We built a fire at night. The only downside is the bathrooms and showers our a 3 min ride or a 10 min walk from these cabins.(Which is why we bought a porta -potty) By the way the bathrooms and showers are immaculately clean!!!!They also have a heated pool which is a nice touch. THEY HAVE NEW OWNERS AND THEY ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. WE ALL HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! .
PS The cabin floors are wood and they are dusty so I would recommend mopping before you move in or bring a throw rug to put down. I would say this is the only negative about the cabin.
