This classic mom and pop joint is used mainly by locals, and we can see why. It ain't gratuitously nautical, and is pretty plainly furnished, but the owners are in the premises, and the breakfasts were fantastic and reasonably priced.

Rockland Cafe is our new first-choice place to dine!

Had lunch here today...a sea scallop roll that was so tasty and delicious, served with fries for under $9! I have eaten here in the past and have never been disappointed. Their prices are great and the food is too!

When my friend and I are in Maine this is ALWAYS a stop for fishcakes for him-no matter what time of day!!! A nice clean restaurant with good food and very reasonable prices, and it is easy to find --right on the main street. The decor is interesting and fun to look at. Not a big place, but we always have had good service and great food...

We stopped in for a quick bite after the museum, a couple of cookies and some delicious cheese bread. Everything was tasty and well priced.

We went with friends, the 4 of us sat right away. The decor is cool and surely gives the eye something to look at. I got 2lbs steamers- they were fresh and yummy- My husband got the Buffalo Chicken Strips with fries and a Shipyard Beer (bottles only here no draft) he said it was good- one friend got the Fish sandwich which she said was also good....However, My friend got the burger which she could not eat, she said the hamburger patties were gross and clearly had been frozen. She did not finish and really, really did not like hers. We all did agree the fries were good though.
