I have occasion to stay in Rockland, Maine from time to time throughout the year, and am very glad I discovered the Captain Lindsey House Inn. The Inn is comfortable and even a bit indulgent without being overly fussy or fancy. The cooked-to-order hot breakfasts are a real treat, the beds are luxurious and the coffee is much better than in chain motels. Rooms are immaculate, Internet is reliable, and the pub next door isn't bad either. I have returned several times and am happy to be an off-season regular when I have business in the area.
