This is a beautifully restored Victorian with rooms in the main house and in what used to be the stables. We were in the stables and our room was gorgeous - a fireplace that turned on with a remote, a shower that had 4 body jets, wonderful thick towels and robes, a huge TV and DVD, WiFi, of course. The stable and the main house both have common rooms. Tea and coffee and soda and juice and pie and ice cream are available all day and a 3 course breakfast is served. Is a short walk from downtown with lots of restaurants and shops to visit.

We appreciate the endorsement from seasoned travelers like yourselves and in particular the positive recognition of our staff. The hardest part of running a small business is finding great staff that also share our passion for providing great customer service so it is nice to hear feedback that they are on the mark too.

Cheryl and Mike are excellent hosts of this Victorian home away from downtown Rockland. Upon arriving Mike gave us a history lesson of the home and showed us the home, minus the filled rooms. We were encouraged to view any room which were not occupied at any time. We had chosen room 5 which was on the third floor. A huge room with a string area. King size bed was very comfortable and we both had very good nights sleep. Cheryl bakes pies and has a selection of three for the guests to sample at anytime and ice cream if you want to top it off. Cheryl made simple but filling breakfasts for her guests and Mike the comedies waited on us the had the dolls sing. Cheryl and Mike were interested in everyones daily plans and gave us maps / directions for each. We were given a book of Romantic Inns to visit and Berry Manor Inn is high on our list to return. We met a couple who were leaving to an Inn we went to in Jan and were able to fill them in on that beautiful place.

Room Tip: Older folks will probably have a hard time getting to the third floor, steep climb from the second floor and the four rooms, but they are well worth it.

We loved !! My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a Historical Bed and Breakfast. We chose this one because of it's excellent reviews , and we were not disappointed. We were greeted like we were special--and treated so throughout our stay. The room was beautifully done and we felt like we were truly back in the Victorian era with the half tester King sized bed, and original fireplace. Raspberry pie with ice cream was a delicious treat--wanted to go back for another taste of these
homemade pies. The history of the Inn was so interesting and the owners most knowledgable and helpful- originally a ballroom on the 3rd floor!!! We will definitely be back !!!

Room Tip: We enjoyed our second floor room with a comfortable King sized bed.

I recently attended a conference in Rockport and had the pleasure of staying at the Berry Inn. What a beautiful Victoria B&B. It not only felt like a home but was treated like a family member. The breakfast was delicious as well as the evening treat of cherry pie. Make sure you stay here if you are in the Rockland area!

This is a lovely property in Rockland, easy walk to the heart of the town. Displaying the period detail of a beautiful Victorian with a colorful history, the competent and thorough owners and staff take pride in presenting the B&B to new guests, then following through with outstanding, low-key service. That they do this day after day and still make it look easy is a tribute to their professionalism. The rooms have all the important stuff well covered, and breakfast is very nice. They pride themselves in offering home-made pies any time the urge hits. And they are very helpful with local knowledge, like the inside scoop on best dining. Cudos!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms- website tells the story.
