I can't say enough about their great work and commitment to bringing back the puffin to the Maine coast. If this review was for their work alone, I would gladly give them five stars.
However the museum is really lacking in focus and story telling. Mostly it's a movie playing in the back room. The movie is poorly made and not very interesting. They have a few exhibits back there, but you can't see them as it's dark when the movie is running! Also there were kids playing on some hide and find blocks during the movie. It was hard to hear with the kids playing in the same room!
They do have some nice things in their gift shop and they lady working the counter knew a lot about puffins and was able to answer a lot of questions.
Again they do great work, but honestly this museum is a joke. If you want to learn about the puffins and how they are coming back to Maine I suggest you take a puffin cruise that will take you around their breeding islands.
