This place is a hoot and the real deal. If Captain Sharp is around, talk to him and ask questions. The location is right where big bots were built

“Best museum in Rockland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 20, 2012

My wife and I have been visiting mid-coast area for 15 years and have toured almost all of the museums. This place ranks near the top of the list. What we thought would be another quick look turned into a 3+ hour treat. If you're lucky, as we were, Capt. Jim Sharp will be there to show you around. He is the saltiest of old salts and his presentation is a delight. The displays are really well done and covers everything beautifully as well as the limerock business in Rockland. A must see!
