Captain Dan provides a true Maine sailing experience on the waters around Rockland. We sailed alongside & darted among the dozen or so Windjammers as they paraded along the Rockland Breakwater. Captain Dab gave us a bonus excursion out to Owl's Head Lighthouse for some remarkable images and was thorough in his knowledge of the history of Rockland & the harbor during our sail. If you are lucky, you too will meet his family on board. Simply put, a remarkable way to spend the afternoon & no better way to do it than with Captain Dan on the Bufflehead.

We did the lobster feast with our sail. It was all we hoped it would be. Captain Daniel was wonderful and shared so much interesting history and information about ships and the lobster industry in Maine. Our picnic on the beach was over the top, from homemade potato salad and fresh garden greens salad, fresh juicy lobster cooked just right, and last but not lease - homemade strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream and local strawberries.
