Now that my summer guests have gone home, I need to add this restaurant to my list of favorite places to take them when they first hit town. The local seafood is wonderfully and simply prepared. We shared raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller (the spinach was crisply fresh), lobster rolls, steamed clams and a wonderful blueberry pie. It was a gorgeous evening out on the pier with the sun setting over the harbor. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about both the foods and wines we were ordering (try the grapefruit-y Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand with any of the seafoods). My friends had just arrived from a long day of airline and road tripping and declared it a wonderful end to their day. Pricing is very reasonable and there was a table full of children not far from us who were totally and quietly engaged in their meal. This is a great place to take your family -- grandparents, parents and children. And, at our departure, they playing live jazz on the deck . It was wonderful.
