Let me say that we spent a week in Rockport, which is Rockland's neighbour, and I only wish we had tried this spot earlier in the week. The setting is a quaint, if crowded, coffee bar and used book store at one end of Rockland's Main Street. We actually happened by a few days before, but it was packed and we had just been subjected to a substandard brew at the Rockland Cafe, so we passed on by. What a colossal mistake! Upon our return we ordered a flavoured latte and an Americano. The latte was a tad sweet, we normally get our half-sweet anyway, but the Americano was simply divine. We also got a chocolate torte that was to-die-for and worth far more than the $5 they charged (shhh, don't tell them!) For those of you hooked on the wares of that certain green mermaid from Seattle, there is no need to fear as Rock City Books & Coffee will fill the bill quite nicely.
