Home kitchen cafe opened for business about three years ago and has quickley become the spot for Breakfast in Rockland,ME There menue is very unique for a breakfast esablihment, with iteams such has Huevos Ranchoers ,eight differant types of Bennies, and an home kithcen original,The Clawed Father, which is a giant lobster sandiwich with a full 1/1/4 lb lobster paired with applewood smoked bacon, yuuuuuum, and these are just a few iteams, the meuue is vast and differant from the ushaual ho hum breakfast iteams you will find at most places. The food is prepared and cooked from scratch and loaded with flavor, flavor truly lives here! From the moment you walk through the door, you feel very welcome and quickly greeted by the friendly and knowalble staff that I have ever seen!.the decor is unique has well, with local art work on display, and a wonderfull ararry of decorated colors. I have eaten just about everything offered on the munue over time, and have never had any complaints, the food is just to die for! the only complaint I have at the moment,is that they are currently closed for exspansion construction, and I am having breakfast withdrawals! but this is what you would exspect from a wonderfully run cafe with great food and service, they had to expand to acommate the overwelling customer response!Overall a fantastic experiance, flavor has nowhere to hide here! constriction should be compleate by Jan 2013,and Rockland will have its favorite breakfast place agian.Hey there open for lunch has well, and they serve local micros brews and wine. Rumor has it,after the construction is complete, they will acomadate dinner to.
