This restaurant is typical of the simple Maine restaurant where the seafood is very good at especially reasonable prices. We had the Fish and Chips ("senior special" at $6.99) which included deeo fried Cod, French fries and coleslaw and the scallop platter with the same sides. Service was friendly and very good (don't know when a previous reviewer visited, but the restaurant was busy and we were served promptly).

We'll go back next time in Rockland!

Friendly staff and the best tacos ever! Have had fish tacos many places, even Napa but these are incredible. A must stop to enjoy local eats!

The food was okay - basic diner food but the service is really horrible if you aren't a regular. I have tried the place twice and won't go back. The 2nd time, we sat outside and ordered our food. The waitress kind of threw our food at us. When she came back 10 minutes later, reached over us to close the awning which dumped leaves all over us and our food, we got the hint that she did not want to be waiting their outside tables. Their sign said they were still open. The first time I tried the place, I went solo for breakfast. The waitress was all over the local men but a female? No greeting just a "what do you want?" Surly.

The proprietary will no doubt be disappointed in my assignation of their fare as diner food, but restauranteurs are easily offended. There's too much swagger about the Bobby Flay lobster roll thing, too. This is diner food, fare and square, but it is good diner food.
