“No so much...”
Reviewed April 23, 2013 via mobile

We have been there a couple of times for breakfast. The first time the food was pretty good and plentiful. It was good breakfast food that stuck to your ribs. The place was fun and had a feeling of hustle and bustle. The next time, the place felt a bit tired, and not so clean. The table felt as though it was going to be all sticky with syrup, although it wasn't really. The food felt sort of disjointed and like it was thrown together. I think we'll give it some time before trying again.

“Amazing lobster BLT, fries”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Arrived in Rockland just in time to squeak in for a late lunch and had to try the 'King lobster club' for which they are famed. I don't know if there was quite the meat of 2 lobsters in there, but it was certainly loaded with lobster and the bacon, lettuce and tomato were all very good and complemented the lobster. Also, unexpectedly excellent fries and pretty good coffee. My husband had the Reuben and said the corned beef was a bit tough, though. Friendly service.

Best Lobster BLT. Won a throw down against Bobby Flay. Dine alfresco and watch the summer crowds from this great corner location in Rockland

“Good Breakfast in downtown Rockland”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

A real friendly and efficient staff; they make you feel right at home among all the regulars. I had crab & avocado eggs benedict with a well-made (though it could've used more lemon) hollandaise. Perfectly poached eggs and really fresh crabmeat made this a real treat! My companion had a ham & cheddar omelet that was O.K., but it was accompanied by cold home fries that had an odd aftertaste. Also, a "fresh fruit" cup was served with my benedict, but only some of the fruit was fresh. The coffee and the service were top notch. The downtown location makes it a good place to have your morning meal.

“Local”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

An honest local gathering spot. Breakfast was good. The menu has all the usual suspects, prepared without objection. The term "greasy spoon" applies here. The view of the open kitchen suggests it's been a while since the place had a good scrubbing. Still, for some eggs over easy it's a good option.
