The LimeRock Inn is a keeper. It's centrally located (walking distance to downtown, but far enough away to avoid the noise of downtown Main Street traffic), with well furnished rooms that are clean and comfortable. I looked at most of the rooms, and they are all attractive - either going with the elegant, antique look or the cottage look.
PJ and Frank are very helpful, and offer lots of "extras" that I liked - soda, juice or water at any time of day or night; little snick snacks (peanuts, candy, crackers) that you can grab from the pantry; a computer with free internet access, if necessary. Breakfast was three courses - fruit, muffins, and then something hot (we had pancakes and chicken sausage) with OJ and coffee. Our room, which was downstairs, offered a seperate enty with a small patio, which looked out over the gardens (which are quite lovely english style, kept up to date -- PJ and Frank were adding fall flowers while we were there) -- this was a bonus as we had coffee outback, soaking up some fall sunshine, on the deck. PJ and Frank are knowledgable and helpful, and offered assistance in dinner reservations if we wanted. They were also accomodating and let us check in early, since the room was unoccupied the day before.
All in all, we had a great stay, and I would definitely go back and stay again.
