Delicious food, attentive staff, and great atmosphere. I felt that there were great options for all, which is greatly appreciated as a vegetarian. I'll be back even if it's just for the amazing chocolate bread pudding!

“High end food, great service.”
Reviewed March 3, 2014

High end bistro with a good healthy menu. The bread pudding was amazing! Don our bartender and our waitress Marty were really great and very entertaining. The place is cozy and relaxed. I will certainly return when I am back up there.

“valentines day, one week early!”
Reviewed February 20, 2014

After you've been married 32 years you can choose whenever you want to celebrate Valentine's Day! For us this year it fell on February 8th. What an outstanding restaurant! We loved the service, the food and the ambience, what else is left? "Forks" would do just fine in the Old Port of Portland except the prices would seem too low! Statler Chicken: Great! Lamb Lollipos: Great! Outstanding wine selection and a very nice "Lion Stout" draft. We're going back on March 8th with kids (adult kids!) in tow. Discover this place, you'll be glad you did!

“A Charming Little Gem in Downtown Rangeley”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Forks in the Air on Valentine's Day. Forks in the Air is a small, neighborhood bistro which would be equally at home in any large city, including New York, Boston or San Francisco. The restaurant is small and cozy with artistic touches and a warm ambiance. If you're lucky enough to sit by the window, you'll get to see the rest of the world outside passing by on Main St. We were all very pleased with our food: the beef tenderloin was delicious and tender although a bit salty. The mushroom paella was superb. Our table shared three desserts: a cheesecake, the bread pudding and the crème brulee. Of the three, we all seemed to prefer the crème brulee and found the other two to be a bit too sweet for our tastes. Forks in the Air is a welcome addition to the Rangeley restaurant community - it's a bit of elegance and fine dining up in the mountains!
