Our decision to take a cruise on Rangeley Lake aboard the Oquossoc Lady was a last-minute decision but it became one of the highlights of our mini-vacation in Maine. Being late September, there was an ideal amount of color in the trees on the hills surrounding the lake and a cool, brisk wind blowing, but the sun was bright and Kevin and Doreen Sinnett provided extra blankets that kept us snug for the one-hour trip. Kevin shared a wealth of knowledge about the people and events of this historic region as he piloted this beautifully restored craft around the lake, and even had large photo reproductions that let us see "then and now" aspects of the area. A wonderful way to "get into" the history of the Rangeley region and experience one of Maine's fabled lakes first-hand. Don't miss this experience!
