Owner description: 2014, 2015 and 2017 BEST BOAT CRUISE in the entire State of Maine...as voted by Down East Magazine Readers! Rated # 1 of 28 "Things To Do" in Rangeley for 5 straight years! Offering Scenic Lake Cruises, Private Charters, Sunset & Foliage Cruises, Mothership Kayak Excursions and Guided Kayak Trips on Maine's Rangeley Lakes. Two unique vessels, our 1947 restored wood launch the Oquossoc Lady and our 30' pontoon boat, the Gray Ghost. Now in our 8th season, we have become the premier summer activity in Rangeley. The Oquossoc Lady returns you to the time when small private steamers sailed the lake. At 28', she seats 10 passengers. The Gray Ghost, at 30', is the largest commercial vessel in the region and provides safe and comfortable transport to our remote guided paddling destinations on the Rangeley Lakes. All cruises and paddle trips include a historic overview of the Region as well as wildilfe viewing. Loons, Bald Eagles, Ospreys, maybe even a Moose. Our decision to take a cruise on Rangeley Lake aboard the Oquossoc Lady was a last-minute decision but it became one of the highlights of our mini-vacation in Maine. Being late September, there was an ideal amount of color in the trees on the hills surrounding the lake and a cool, brisk wind blowing, but the sun was bright and Kevin and Doreen Sinnett provided extra blankets that kept us snug for the one-hour trip. Kevin shared a wealth of knowledge about the people and events of this historic region as he piloted this beautifully restored craft around the lake, and even had large photo reproductions that let us see "then and now" aspects of the area. A wonderful way to "get into" the history of the Rangeley region and experience one of Maine's fabled lakes first-hand. Don't miss this experience!

Our hosts, Doreen and Kevin could not have been nicer. Kevin, who is a retired Navy pilot, is very knowledgeable of the lake, and was very attentive to our questions. If you are in the area, this a must. Would be great for all ages. It was a bit chilly on the cruise and Kevin provided us all blankets. Kevin, I thank you again, and even for an old retired Air Force guy, the cruise was great!

The one hour tour is just the right amount of time for an easy cruise around the lake. Kevin does a great job describing the history and features. He's articulate and very knowledgable. The historical pictures he shares gives one a better idea of how life used to be on the lake. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the lake, view Ocquossoc or Rangeley from the water, or learn more about the history of the area.

We received this cruise as a wedding gift and used it on our honeymoon while in Rangeley! This was our 2nd year in Rangeley and had missed out doing this cruise our 1st year. Kevin and Doreen were great guides and have such a vast knowledge of Rangeley and the history of the area. We enjoyed an amazing sunset cruise with cozy blankets and crisp air. The Oquossoc Lady is a lady indeed and we look forward to a future cruise next year.

We missed the Bald Eagle but saw the Osprey and Loons!

There is no better way to see Rangeley than from the water on the Oquossic Lady. Kevin and Doreen are fantastic hosts. From ordering our dinner, to providing us with blankets for the sunset, this was a five star experience in an unexpected place! We also took the opportunity to rent some kayaks from Kevin and get tips on finding moose which yeilded success! We are all looking forward to cruising again aboard this beatiful boat. Jan, Cassie, and Nathaniel.
