Beautiful hotel but we went swimming within 30 minutes of arrival. 6 of the 8 people were burned by the chlorine! We checked out after taking showers but our entire trip was ruined because of this incident!

We are baffled as to how you suffered Chlorine burns. Our water is tested twice per day in house, along with a constantly monitored system that audibly alerts us if there is a change in the water quality. This system is monitored by an external company 24/7. We checked the book for the date of your arrival and the levels were well within the State of Maine requirements. We are however very sorry to hear that your stay with us was spoiled. Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel.

We found this hotel to be very well kept and we had a very comfortable sleep.This hotel is close to a lot of shopping and there are a lot of eating facilities close by.Overall we had a lovely two nites here.The complimentary breakfast was very good as well.

Gracious and helpful even through they had some renovations going on. A very clean and nice place to stay. Friendly staff. Breakfast bar is well stocked with a friendly helpful attendant. Rooms are very clean and of a large size for a motel room. Washroom was also rather large with lots of vanity space.

The staff and facilities at Presque Isle's Hampton inn are 5 star. From the time we entered the Inn our ever need was met with excellence and a smile. They made our stay an enjoyable experience. I would recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone going to the Northern Maine area. You will feel like you are in a resort setting.

The Hampton Inn was clean with an updated look. It had a fireplace in the lobby, which was large and accommodating with many tables, an eating bar, TV, nice breakfast in the a.m. Staff were attentive and friendly. I wish I had time to visit the gym, but was unable to. I would definitely go back.
