Dinner out Saturday night and an overall nice experience. I did not get her name, but the hostess at the door was outstanding. She had a true grasp of the room and knew to how to manage the seating’s. Our server Lily was very good with that attentive graceful non-intrusive style. Our meal experience was good with my wife having a few more hits than myself. Her chicken liver appetizer as she put it was outstanding and the livers were done just right. Her grilled asparagus salad as her entrée was another hit. She had a side of gnocchi’s which were a total miss. ...gooey fried little dough balls with rosemary. I had the mac and cheese as an appetizer and not a fan of it. It lacked that cheesy goodness and was sort of bland that even with the buttery crumb mixture could not help it. I picked the lamb shepherd’s pie and it was a miss for me. I should have asked if the lamb was something other than ground, since I would not have ordered it if it was ground lamb. It was ground lamb and surprisingly did not have any lamb flavor to it. So overall some hits and a few misses. We likely will be back and our experience with brunch is a lot better.

We spent a week in coastal Maine going from one B&B and town to the next. The best breakfast we had was at the Front Room! Better than any of the B&Bs and they had very good breakfasts. The Front Room has great selections to choose from and their Corned Beef Hash is the best I have ever had. Don't miss this wonderful neighborhood treat. We sat outside and really enjoyed feeling apart of the local scene.

This classic neighborhood gem serves the most wonderful food, with great service and atmosphere. Their grilled breakfast bread of the day was cranberry walnut and could not have been a better companion to the delicious brunch with potatoes cooked just right, for a reasonable price!

Can't wait to go back.

We went here for dinner a year ago and decided to try the breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, could not have been nicer or more accommodating. This place is simply an excellent place for a good, reasonably priced meal.

They don't take reservations for brunch, and your entire party must be there before they will seat you. However, the food is well worth the wait, and pretty decently priced for what you get.
