Incredibly delicious food. Try the caramel milkshake, the fries and the truffle ketchup sauce. It is worth the wait. Also, if you sit at the bar style seating you can play with magnetic poetry!

My son and I stayed around the corner while visiting Portland and ate here twice. This tiny restaurant is famous for their french fries fried in duck fat, their charcuterie, and their milkshakes. I've eaten fries all over the world and prefer the original Belgian style. Duckfat's rank highly. They make a smashing poutine, as well. Burnt honey milkshake was fantastic.

The hardest part about Duckfat is deciding what to have. I guess we'll have to keep going back.

This is the second time I have been to Duckfat and it was just as good as I remembered it. Extremely creative menu, great casual atmosphere. They also have a poetry wall where you get to use word magnets to play around while you enjoy their amazing food. Good beer selection, nice non alcoholic drinks, and wonderful food. The french fried with the Thai Chili sauce are amazing.

Great service...great food...great local beers on tap and bottle...a short wait for a table even though the place was packed...must admit it was odd facing the wall when eating (sat along the perimeter "table") but there were these little magnets of words that my wife and I had a blast piecing together to make non-sensical phrases. Great place - highly recommended.

Small hidden treasure in Portland. Great people working there! Loved Rob from Louisiana who waited on us both times. He was a blast! You must try the Poutine which is an absolute diet buster! In fact nothing on the menu is remotely calorie conscious...so just get over that...and eat! We'd have gone back a third time if our schedules permitted, but alas...there's always next trip! You guys rock!
