Our family stopped in Otto on 255 Congress Street after finding parking impossible up the street at the original Otto.

We had to wait about 25 minutes in an uncomfortable, elbow-to-elbow corridor that also was where the wait staff had to grab slices. So that sucked and kind of set a bad tone for the evening. That quickly subsided as the wait staff was remarkably attentive to our family in this uncomfortable environment as we waited, and then was even better during our meal.

We shared a few of slices (for variety) along with an apple/bacon pie and a tortellini pie. All were spectacular, and well worth the uncomfortable wait. This is a really, really good place to visit for a very special and different pizza experience. By the way, we are from CT and are very familiar with New Haven's Apizza Trio (Pepe, Sally, Modern) and Otto hangs with these three all day long.

Great pizza and loved the staff-they were friendly and welcoming to whoever came in. Otto's is kind of funky and a bit confusing, but the employees rolled with it and just added to the atmosphere.
Pizza by the slice from more traditional flavors to potato, bacon and scallion. I had a farm fresh summer squash, spinach, and herb that was to die for.

Met a friend for an early dinner and we decided on the white pizza with butternut squash, ricotto, and cranberry. Never would have come up with that combo on my own, but WOW, wasn't it delicious! And it's the really good Italian style thin crust! Service friendly and efficient, Great decor with upright piano soundboards running down the center of the room serving as walls between the otherwise side by side tables.

We stopped here recently to rest our feet and get out of the sun. We only had a cold drink but the restaurant and staff were nice, comfortable and relaxing.

Otto's was recommended by several locals while we were visiting Portland, and it didn't dissappoint! White pizza is fantastic, pepperoni is great and plain was great cold for breakfast!
