Thankfully we found this place on the last day of our visit to Portland. Everything is done well: espresso, drip coffee (I tried both), baked goods, speciality items, and spacious seating. Also a convenient location by the Ferry Terminal.

Very nice big coffee shop with exposed brick and concrete floors. Great staff and very knowledgeable with handcrafted beverages. They also have some vegan baked good options as well as fresh pie slices and cookies. The maple latte was really good and we enjoyed free wifi while hiding away from the rain.

After taking friends and business partners - ALL FROM Italy - and not just a few either (5 to be exact and all at different times) Crema comes in dead last as far as espresso and even regular coffee goes from ALL the other coffee houses in Portland. Can't say I disagree and, indeed, there's a lack of warmth here which leaves me just a little bit...well...cold.

Nice big coffee shop with casual decor - concrete floor and exposed brick walls. Yummy sweet treats and coffee is great. Enjoyed my latte - grande was huuuge!

Yes, we have a gazillion fabulous coffeehouses here in Portland, but this one is distinctive and there's more than one reason that you probably will want to stop in at some point. It's got a great location just across from the ferry terminal and the huge front windows are especially good for people-watching when a ferry's in town. The renovated warehouse space has a fun and funky vibe, cozified by the flames of the fireplace (except during our 2-month summer:). There's good music and attractive art to be leisurely enjoyed. And then--of course--there's the menu. I can't help you with coffee descriptions--I don't even drink the stuff! I can vouch that the chai latte is not the most flavorful, but all you have to do is avail yourself of the nutmeg or cinnamon shaker on the counter to spice it up a bit. The bagels are from Union Bagel, plus there's a tempting variety of fresh baked pastries and a few savory offerings as well. There's ample seating, including soft seat options by the fireplace. Lastly--good mix of friendly folks, and sometimes live piano music (check with them for schedule). Hope I've covered enough angles to help you decide if this is someplace you'd like to check out. Have a great visit!
