I ate at this new restaurant and bar for lunch twice this week. The service was very friendly and efficient. The co-proprietor was on hand greeting diners, talking about his and his brother's work to design and build the space. He is justifiably proud of the results. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The restaurant features an extensive menu of fine farmhouse and gourmet selections, as well as a full bar with a decent selection of wine, local beer, and liquor with a creative cocktail menu.

On my first visit I ate the quiche with spinach salad. On my second visit I ate the Paris flatbread sandwich. They were both delicious and creative. The menu included many other enticing creative entrees and sandwiches. I look forward to returning for happy hour and dinner.

We had 25 minutes to eat and get back to the spa at the Regency. The bartender did not flinch and promptly made us 2 wonderful ginger st.germains. They were perfect. We had just enough time for a lunch of pheasant and salmon pâté plate. Thank you for the lovely meal and quick turnaround. Very impressive.

Visting Cape Elizabeth for the weekend, went into Portland for the day. My partner and I along with another couple were fortunate to come across The North Point when looking for a late lunch and cocktail.

Wow, Day 4 since the grand opening and what a welcome surprise. Intimate surroundings with a great music selection. Service was stellar and proud owners genuinely care about their business, clients and your overall satisfaction. Cocktails made with all fresh ingredients, bloody mary and margarita were best we have had. Homemade soup was wonderful, quiche amazing and the Naan reuben with a side of homemade slaw, a welcome change to the traditional offerings.

If in Town, don't miss The North Point. You will NOT be disappointed!
