I went with my family mid winter this past year. The place was not busy by any strech, probably three other tables besides us. The service from beginning to end was slow. I felt like the waitress had taken a Zanex before work. I was a minute away from hopping behind the bar and pouring drinks for ourselves. Now to the food... i've been to Mesa Verde twice. The first time I ordered the chicken wrap. It's basically unseason chicken, with a little cheese (unmelted) stuck in a white burrito. It's like eating rubber without any flavor. They have no glaze, no seasoning, no sauce ... it's awful. I regretfully decided to give them a second chance when my family came to visit. My mother ordered the enchaldas which was the most disspointing thing I have EVER seen come out of a restaurant. Mesa should be embarrassed. The enchaldas looked like they had been sitting for half a day under the heat lamps. The rice, completely dry. The beans, looked like they had come out of a dog's butt prior to be served on the plate. It was awful. I had to apologize to my family for this incredibly dissapointing experience. I hope no one else has ot go through this.
