“Great for kids, adults too”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Phenomenal, healthy pizzas and salads with the freshest ingredients. Great view of the water, friendly staff. They also give all kids a bit of dough to play with, which my kids thought was the best. Just off the highway, so an easy stop on a road trip.

“THERE IS NOTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT THIS PLACE”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

We have been to this establishment a couple of times. It is everything good--located on a dock, a musician playing outdoors, the pizza is like the ones we had in Italy. They MAKE their own pepperoni and Italian sausage. The pizzas made with these ingredients that we had were the best. Organic ingredients shine through in their salads. We especially liked the blue cheese one.
It has a funky interior and you can even sit on sofas to dine (we saw a family dining on them and it looked like fun).
They serve the pizzas on tiered trays. Pizzas made from organic flour, baked in exposed brick oven--doesn't get better than this.

“Awesome & delicious!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

Flatbread company prides them self by using local and organic products and they should. If only more restaurants were this conscientious. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza was yummy and spicy. Some of the seating includes watching them cook the pizzas in a wood fire pizza oven. The entire time we were there, the pizza guy had an audience. We also ordered the banana bread sundae!! We highly recommended. It!!!!

“Pizza at the Downtown Dock-Outstanding”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

A last minute decision to try the pizza at The Flatbread Company.
We were prepared for tourist trap leaded pizza and we got artisan pizza & salads in a very nice setting. Dominated by large pizza ovens going full blast in the center of the restaurant, the place had a buzz and aromas of fresh baked pizza.
Outstanding in every way.
If you must wait in line-do it.

“Amazing pizza”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We went here last month while visiting friends in Portland. Holy cow. This was absolutely delicious. We ordered the special which was basically a Hawaiian pizza-- ham and pineapple. When the pizza came out, I thought there was no way we could eat the whole thing. However, this was far from the truth. Let's put it this way-- we could not stop eating it. The ingredients were super fresh. The sauce, I have eaten a lot of pizza in my time, and I can honestly say this is some of the best sauce I have ever eaten in my life! I wish we had these in Florida!

Also, the list of beers on tap was great. The prices were good as well. I liked that they offered less than a pint considering we were going to Shipyard next for a tour. The waiter as knowledgeable about the menu and was really helpful.
