“Great pizza”
Reviewed March 31, 2011

My wife and I eat here on a regular basis. We find the food to be great. The ingredients are are fresh, organic and delicious.
We enjoy being able to see the pizzas being cooked in the wood oven.
The selection of beer and wine is always decent.
I've always had very efficient and friendly waitstaff. I'm in my 40's and they will still ask to see my ID.
It can get pretty loud as there is usually a lot of children, but overall a very nice place for some casual dining.
I highly recommend giving this place a try, then stop in at Ri~Ra Irish Pub directly above Flat Bread to finish off the night.

“Best Pizza in Portland”
Reviewed January 25, 2011

Portland has a lot of great restaurants but Flatbread has to be one of the best. The pizza is incredible, but so too are the salads. You get great bang for your buck as two people can eat for roughly $30. I've been there several times over the last few years, and never had a bad experience. They don't take reservations, however, so if you show up on a weekend night be prepared to wait a while!

Fun place and very friendly staff who are eager to recommend their favorites! The flatbread pizza was the best we've ever had and give the maple syrup ice tea a try.

“Great food - good for families”
Reviewed November 20, 2010

Great flatbreads (pizza) and salads - all local and organic. Ordered a salad with goat cheese that was delicious. A small flatbread is a good meal for one person. The restaurant is right on the water in Portland and is cozy inside - especially with the pizza oven fire roaring. It is loud inside but good place to take a family.

“Excellent flatbread pizza!!!”
Reviewed November 10, 2010

Very rustic and earthy joint. Entire building made of steel, stone and wood. Every pizza on the menu sounded fantastic but we opted to go with "Jay's Heart" which was flatbread topped with tomato sauce, garlic oil, blend of cheeses and a very delicious spice blend sprinkled on top. It was awesome... Very smokey flavor infused from the wood burning stove. Excellent service and terrific view of water. Only turn off was the restroom. Although it appeared to be clean, it smelled like a rest area bathroom. That being said, I would still go back for certain.
