Checked out the flea for their first ever Night Market last Friday. I was impressed by their Facebook page and website and this was the first time I had been there.
The Night Market made for a great night! I went following the Downtown First Friday Art Walk. We walked around sipping on the free drinks and snacks- fantastic guacamole!

There are two levels- mainly furniture from consignors on the second floor. Amazing vintage items. A wide variety of records, clothing, cards, perfumes, jewelry, posters etc on the first floor—bought a few records. If you’re ever in a bind about finding a wonderfully original gift for someone, this is the place to go! There was even a 10% discount offered at a booth for showing your mustache.

The flea-for-all was a feast for the eyes. A Portland must if you’re there on the weekend!

The sophisticated website for this market had me really excited for some very promising local craftsmen. I was so disappointed. There were about 15 vendors mostly selling some so-so vintage clothing and household items. The original crafts a few of the vendors were offering were not sophisticated but may be attractive to craft enthusiasts or hipsters who are interested in the items ironically.

Two floors of vendors hawking their vintage wares. Nicely priced gifts also include hand-crafted pottery and beautiful jewelry. I bought the most awesome white high-top sneakers with red lips on them for $15 and a pretty lace vintage dress fir $20. Open Weekends only, and really worth the trip. Only a few blocks from the arts district.
