This was a very disapointing dinner. The restaurant was very noisey, very expensive and the food was not that good. This place is a tourist trap!!

This restaurant was not in our plans, but my kids fell in love with the idea of eating on a boat when we walked by, so we switched our lunch plan. The atmosphere, service and food were all great, and prices were reasonable. And it was right across from the Scenic Route lighthouse tour we were about to take so it was perfect!

Di Millo's food is fine, not fine as in fine dining but fine as in good enough. I do enjoy the setting. Sitting on the water in an old ferry boat is a nice touch. We had lunch at DiMillo's with my 10 year old who loved being on a boat and eating lunch. It is a bit pricey when you think about all of the great food available in Portland for the same money.

We've eaten here many times. The views of the water may indeed make it a place to visit. But the quality of the food is inconsistent and the staff varies a lot. We have had wonderful experiences and awful experiences in regard to staff friendliness, wait time to be served, and quality of food. Having said that, it is definitely a go-to place for lobster, which is very expensive, but absolutely perfectly prepared here. But expect the dinner bread to be boring at best and the service to be iffy. It depends who you get. Skip the fish chowder and spend the extra money on the lobster stew. Desserts are great - try the bread pudding - it's amazing. Also - be prepared to pay WELL for your meal if you go the lobster route. Free parking.
