“Floating restaurant”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

The food here is consistent and good. The views are great. In the summer, you can sit out on the top deck for lunch and watch the water traffic and look over to South Portland.

“Dining -- on Board a ship.”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

Must do this at least once, either for a drink, lunch or dinner. The restuarant is within a shipping vessel. Food is very good to excellent, decent value. Good parking, port location, so a nice stroll to shops to walk off your meal.

Always a great place to eat. Food is exceptional. Excellent service. Best views of the Portland Harbor anywhere in town. Great any time of year.

“Excellent Service and Quality Food”
Reviewed April 26, 2012

Truely a Portland SeaFood establishment. The variety of sea food on the menu along with other non-seafood items makes this a must stop for dinner. Prices are reasonable and our server was excellent.

“Was warned it was a tourist trap--but I was a tourist!”
Reviewed April 19, 2012

Lots of reviews say this place is a tourist trap and maybe it is, but so what? It's an old-fashioned lobster house, reminiscent of Jimmy's Harborside in Boston or Thompson's Clam Bar on the Cape. Service was excellent, view was lovely and the lobster was delicious. They have a lobster special--two 1 pounders for $24. I ordered "one and one" or one steamed and one baked and stuffed and both were great. I also had the iceberg wedge which was delicious and we started with a bucket of steamers which were sweet and tender. Bill for 3 people (only one had alcohol) was $160 with tip, but it was our big treat.
