We stumbled into this as a second choice after being treated like jerks at Fore Street. We could not have made a better choice. It was a busy Saturday night and there was an hour wait. We sat in the lovely bar, looking out over the ocean, and chatted. The bar staff was friendly and customer-focused, even when faced with a drunken lout who came in and acted like a jerk. We were really impressed with how the bar staff and the owner handled this guy and got him out without incident.
When we were seated, we were treated to a wonderful meal. The mussels were divine, the lobster stew was heavenly, and the lobster mac & cheese was really unexpected, made with marscopone cheese and loaded with lobster.
The owner came over to our table (and to the table of everyone who had even been in the bar when the lout was there) to apologize for the trouble in the bar and to check on how our dinner was. We felt very welcomed and very happy in this place. A perfect location for our romantic dinner.
