Loved this walk around the pond before our flight out. Be sure and take your own water bottle--and visit a rest stop before you start!

There is absolutely nothing good about this trail for a tourist.
It is a local hangout joint for joggers and walkers.

Love this trail. It is great for walking or running. Stroller friendly as well. Great view of Back Cove. Can do this easily in an hour or less. I used to walk it on my lunch break when I worked nearby.

My wife and I actually started our run at the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal. We went two miles on the path along the Casco Bay until we picked up the Back Cove trail. It is a 3.5 mile packed gravel trail that was great for running (Probably walking & certain bikes too). The scenery & veiws were fantastic while the sun was coming up. There is even a new "Cross Fit Training" part of the trail with monkey bars, a couple walls to climb and a few other challenging things to do. The best part was the fact that we didn't have to worry about cars. It made the run even more enjoyable. We finished our run where we started at the Casco Bay Ferry lines and it was about a 9-ish mile run. What a great way to start the day!
