We went based on tripadvisor's recommendation. The lobster rolls were delicious. A mini is huge! The hot dog and fried shrimp on the kids menu were a big hit. It was the best fried shrimp I have ever had. The clam chowder was fabulous, too. It is a small restaurant, but the food is worth it.

After reading trip advisor reviews we decided to find this place. Hole in the wall best describes it. The website and door sign said open at 12pm. As we approached the door someone came out and said they wouldn't open for another 20 minutes. So we went back to the car to wait. After 20 minutes we tried to go in again and the sign said open at 12:30. So we took our money elsewhere - to the Lobster Shack at two lights, they were well worth the trip!

this place is such a small hole in the wall place thats hard to find and if you dont look for it you will definetly drive right by it but the food itself is amazing and the owner mike is an awsome guy. we had drove to maine just for a weekend getaway with our 2 kids and he made it great by talking to us and told us about Cape Elizabeth and this really good ice cream place called Reds. we went and had ice cream and then hit the road and let me tell you cape elizabeth is such a beautiful place, we didnt get to spend much time there due to scheduiling but i would definetly do the 2 hr drive from boston just to get this guys food so keep up the good work mike and i hope you are able to expand like you were hoping for

We came based on the reviews we read . The establishment is small with only few tables inside and few more outside benches. The food is out of the world good. Best lobster roll, clam chowder, and fried clams we ever tasted. Lobster roll comes in different sizes. We order the jumbo that is $29 but is overflowing with lobster meats on top ( I would say close to a pound). The chowder is creamy and full of tender clams. Very well seasoned and just the right proportion of potatoes and clams. The fried clams were large and very moist and full of flavor. Would definitely come back again.

Spent a couple of days in Portland Maine. We stumbled upon this gem of a place. The service was awesome and the food was incredible! Mike (the chef) was very friendly and you could definitely see the amount of joy and love he puts in his cooking. Hands down the best lobster rolls I've ever eaten. The scallops were enormous and cooked to perfection. The food left (my husband) and I speechless. What a tremendous place! I highly recommend everyone in/visiting Portland area check this out.
