Our go to spot when we want pizza in Portland. Love the thin crust and the sauce is perfect. The eggplant pizza with the ricotta cheese is one of our favorites. Pulled pork and mango is really tasty too. The house salad is always a great way to start the meal. We tell everyone about this place!

Seriously. The mashed potato pizza is highly addicting. You might have to wait for a seat because this place is not secret. But well worth it.

Otto's is just the right place to go if you are looking for Pizza. They have the most unusall toppings and the perfect crst. The crust is crispy and chewy with just the right about of blacking on the edges. We ate there for lunch and it was so good we had more delivered to our hotel room that night. Great wine list too !

Found ourselves in the middle of restaurant week with no reservations on a Saturday night...Where to go? Our old standby for a slice or two...
If you like traditional fresh thin crust pizza, this is the place. If you like to mix it up with daring combinations on your slice then you are in luck as well! I almost always end up with a traditional peperoni slice, and a slice of mashed potato, bacon and scallion! I know on pizza? We all know bacon makes everything better, right? This pizza doesn't disappoint!
There are usually several funky combinations to choose from if you like variety(pulled pork and mango is another good one! ).
The atmosphere is fun, the wait staff can be spacy, and yes it is a little pricy but you do get what you pay for. I have no problem paying a little extra for good quality fresh food. In my mind it is well worth it!

Pros: atmosphere, funky bar lights, architectural pillars, white tile wall, crust

In hindsight, Would agree with another reviewer's recommendation to order a hot whole pie.No way to tell how long the pizzas sampled had been left out uncovered on the counter. We thought that buying slices we could try a variety. Unfortunately, slices were inadequately heated through...like eating last night's take-out the following day and being too lazy/rushed to reheat it. Pools of sauce still cold on top of luke warm $3.50 pizza slices. We looked forward to trying the pizza here as people have raved about their potato topped creation.I really wanted to like it, but found this filling starch fest to be like eating seasoned mashed potato on pizza...leave it to city folk to try something even people in "the County" know is rightly just wrong. In Maine, a few corner stores turn out some really good, hot, reasonably priced pizza slices; this meal made me hanker for one.
