“not so good...”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

sure the dessert was great but it wasn't nearly enough to make up for the dirty restaurant and rundown furniture. the chocolate martinis didn't taste like chocolate at all and the bartender didn't even offer us a refund. the martinis were 9 dollars each and the cake was 6 dollars per slice, way over priced! don't make any special trips for this place.

“What a great find”
Reviewed September 11, 2012

Just happened to find this place while out siteseeing. Its located on a small cobblestoned street and it fits right in. Small dark atmosphere with compfy chairs. Great for a after dinner drink and some excellant desserts.
Make sure to try the lemoncello martini or 2.
Also, make sure to try the seasalt carmel cake. It's much much better than its name.
The owners are very welcoming and certainly want you to return. So we did and went there 2 nights in a row.
It's also open late

“A Great Place to go After Dinner!”
Reviewed September 6, 2012

This is a litlle bar in a cobblestone alley-a great place we found while wandering around Old Port after dinner. (My husband claims this as "his find"!) The young girl bartender was a real gem. She told us all about the homemade desserts. I had the chocolate carmel cake. She said it won awards in Portland and I can see why. It was delicious. She said that the carrot cake was the best she ever had. My husband had that and he agreed. She made me a chocolate martini- it was big and delicious. The bartender and my husband discussed the number of ports that there were on the shelf. My husband tired several and was impressed! This small dark bar is really worth a try.

“Great late night dessert.”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

A very out of the way tiny little cafe/bar. Excellent martinis and fabulous desserts. Three nights in a row! It's very quaint and a great atmosphere. Not to be missed.
