Owner description: Whether climbing a mountain, entering a bear's den, role-playing crewmembers on a 40-foot schooner or manning a space shuttle, children will have a blast at this highly interactive museum. Most of the museum is geared to children aged one to 11, but young teens will like the computer lab and the camera exhibits. There's also a play area just for toddlers.

“our kids loved it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

We took our 4 and 10 year old here to have some fun and they both had a good time getting into the different environments they have there - fire truck, lobster boat, pirate ship, space ship, grocery store, gas station, and more. Probably more appropriate for kids 4-8 (our son is delayed and I think most avg 10 year olds wouldn't get into it as much)

“Good for children under 7”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

Interactive exhibits that let kids use their imaginations. Best to avoid on a rainy day- gets too crowded. My kids find a new favorite place to play every time they go- from the Space Shuttle to the Camp Site to the Grocery Store. Very reasonably priced too.

“Great for Kids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2013

I attended the museum with four kids between 2 and 5 years of age. They loved it! They were constantly running around, playing with all the exhibits, getting dressed in the costumes and participated during "story time."

This is not a museum for adults, so you have to look at it through a child's eye and determine how much fun they had. The one's I took could've stayed there all day, thus the excellent rating.

One downfall is that the price of admission is the same for everyone, regardless of age, and you have to pay for parking, which is conveniently beside the museum.

“Fun place with neat exhibits and good events program”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

The museum was definitely a lot of fun for my little toddler with so many neat exhibits, but the events program was definitely the highlight -> we really enjoyed painting, constellations show, and story time in the theater. We spent 2 hours there and that was enough to make it through everything, but we could have spent another hour there. Agree with other reviewers that it can be very crowded and noisy, but our toddler had fun and we still were able to get around with our infant in his stroller with relative ease.
