“Low key, om the water. Good food.”

A local place for sure... the food was good but doesn't push culinary boundries. Service was pleasent and efficient. There is parking on the pier next door.

“great lunch and yes--the view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

Four of us had haddock sandwiches, a lobster roll, and a crab roll. Great food
and competitive pricing. Not a tourist trap. Too much hype about the new owner.

Port Clyde is a charming piece of Americana and we should all eat this food, and that at other Port Clyde restaurants, at whatever price, to sustain these communities.

Chow down!

“much improved”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2013

One of the most spectacular locations for a restaurant anywhere. The management might have changed within the past couple of years but prior to that the food was very mediocre, served in tiny portions at high prices. This is a classic Maine tourist trap type of restaurant with " your lobster" crawling around in an old bath tub right at the entrance. I don't even want to think about what "your lobster" has been exposed to prior to cooking. Fish wrap sandwich is good (pollock) and so is the cheeseburger. Grilled chicken sandwich with chipotle mayo is good, not spectacular, but good You get a massive amount of french fries with your order and they are above average. Good to see this place finally trying to live up to its hype. Good luck trying to find a place to park.

“Typical Maine Coastal Town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

Very good Haddock sandwich and great lobster roll. The lobster roll had as much meat as many small lobsters. The waitress was very good, as was the service. Port Clyde is off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. It is a typical small Maine harbor, not to be missed.

“Great Haddock Sandwich!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2013

My husband & I went to the Dip Net for lunch. I had the Haddock Sandwich (with cheese, lettuce and tomatoes) and french fries, and he had the seafood platter. We both loved our meals. My fish couldn't have been fresher, and the french fries were especially tasty. The breading was light and not at all greasy. The coleslaw was a good accompaniment. Our waitress filled all our requests with a smile. The deck overlooks the water with views of the lobster and ferry tour boats.
