We have been going back to the inn year after year for the good fun, friendly atmosphere, wholesome family style meals and a staff that always goes out of their way to meet any needs we might have. Our men enjoy the golfing leaving us gals free to do anything we would like at a very relaxing pace. This is not a modern resort (nor does it charge modern resort prices) but the accomodations are clean and comfortable with things being upgraded every year. The view from a rocking chair on the front porch of the inn is beautiful and the sunsets are breathtaking. One group that I come with comes for a week mid-summer and another group attends the long weekend in October to celebrate Halloween, Christmas and New Years Eve and those guys golf too. We laugh, we dance, we eat, we play games and last year we even hit the casino. We are already booked for this year and are looking forward to seeing Cindy and her great staff.

We stayed at The Lodge after receiving a free room from Oxford Casino. Check in was a breeze, we just had to leave $5 for a key deposit. The room was nice. We had a room with a king size bed. The bathroom was very clean and the rest of the room was clean as well. We did not spend much time in the room as we went to the casino. When we returned to the lodge that night, it was very late. There was no parking anywhere as the place was sold out. I asked the gentlemen working at the front desk where to park. He was very kind and told me to park behind his car on the side of the building. I was impressed by this. The only draw back of this resort is that the walls are very thin. We could hear the person in the next room over snoring, but it was not a big deal. The shower was nice in the morning, with good water pressure. Plenty of towels, etc. We did not eat breakfast as we wanted to beat the snow storm back home, but there was a good assortment of breakfast items available. We will def stay here again the future. I have read a lot of negative reviews about this place and I don't agree with them. The management was very nice and kind. Check out was quick and simple, and I got my $5 back. We look forward to staying again the future.

Went to a wedding there. The room was dirty and asked to move second room worse. The wedding food was marginal and the service well it was a buffet. We were rushed out to make room for dining. Would not recommend this hotel far from a resort. Maybe in the 30"s.

The Lodge room at the Poland Spring Resort was very spartan, yet clean and comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few miles from the Oxford Casino and offers a special casino rate of $79 on weekends. Breakfast was offered as part of the room but we went to a restaurant down the street called the "Egg-ceptional restaurant". It was.

We went to the Oxford Casino in Oxford, Maine. Since this casino has no hotel, we decided to stay at the nearby Poland Spring Resort. The rooms were very clean and in order, just a little dated. A continental breakfast was included in the room rate. The motel overlooks a golf course and the grounds are beautiful. A very good room for a reasonable price.
