The Old Manor House is a wonderful place in the middle of KENT just south of London. The area is fantastic and it is very nice to drive around in the area of hills, castles, nice willages and very nice pubs.
The room at Manor house is gorgeus and so is the service. I love you Kerstin and thank you for the lovely breakfast. I will be back next spring, and again and again.

The Old Manor House fits peacesully into its historic surroundings and I thoroughly enjoyed a short stay in my old home territory of Oxted and its surrounding countryside. The house is full of charactor and beautifully furnished - ideal for relaxing and forgeting the hurly burly of everyday life. Kertin was abroad so that I didn`t have the pleasure of meeting her personally on my visit but her son Rupert certainly knows how to cook and offer a truly delicious and well balanced English breakfast. I will certainly be back and hopeful then will meet Kerstin.
A wonderful place to stop and pause - to think of the past and present !

We stayed one night with Kerstin at the old manor and had a very nice time! We visited Chartwell which is just next door and the next day we drove to London ever so easily...The room is gorgeous, Kerstin is a lovely host and breakfast was indeed very tasty! In the evening we had a very nice meal in the restaurant of the White Horse on the other side of the green , just perfect!
We will definitely be back !!

Very pleasant short stay in a wonderful location for seeing Chartwell and Hever Castle. The double room in which we stayed was extremely comfortable and having a separate entrance from the main house made this seem more like an apartment than a B&B. Rupert also cooks a great breakfast!

Excellent pub just across the road with very good food and interesting Battle of Britain memorabilia. I would certainly recommend the Old Manor House.

We stayed in this B&B only one night, but I loved it very much. The village is nice , the rooms have a very personal touch from Kerstin(we could see both), and the breakfast was phantastic. We had a lovely dinner in the inn nearby, so it was a perfect stay.,especially to talk with Kerstin about books.I would love to come back, but next time for a longer stay.Thank you Kerstin

We stayed at the Old Manor House on our wedding night in August. We stayed in the upstairs double room which was perfect and Kerstin went out of her way to ensure that the room was arranged with flowers and champagne after we returned. The room itself is spacious and beautifully appointed, with all the little extras fully thought through (coffee, tea, wine etc).

Breakfast was delicious with both continental and cooked options offered. We would highly recommend the Old Manor House to anyone wanting a wonderful B&B experience in Kent with an owner who is more than happy to pull out all the stops for your stay. Thanks again, Kerstin.

We were on holiday touring Kent and wanted to be within easy reach of several National Trust properties so Brasted was an ideal location. We stayed for five nights. The Old Manor House is full of charm and we were delighted with our double room with its old beams and lounge area. The breakfasts were a highlight of the day and included fresh fruit salad, home-made bread and home-made jams and marmalades. Kerstin made us very welcome and was very obliging and helpful. We would happily return there if we visit the area again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Old Manor House is a beautiful, historic manor house where you can experience a glimpse of the past, but with all the present-day comforts you would expect from a classic country property that has been featured in specialist interior design magazines such as Period Living. This romantic 15th century village house is set amidst the charming village of Brasted in the Heart of Kent which with close proximity to the beautiful rolling hills of Kent is not called the Garden of England for nothing. The setting makes it the perfect destination for a relaxing, get-away-from-it-all break which may include local pubs, restaurants and numerous historic houses and gardens. Should London be your particular desire it will take 1 hour door to door with fast and regular trains. Dating from the late 1400, The Old Manor House is dignified in its old age: undulating floors, great oak beams, quirky nooks and crannies and where old British charm meets Scandinavian chic in perfect harmony. Both of our bedrooms have their own distinctive character, have private en-suite facilities and each is provided with a hospitality tray, bottled water, books , magazines and even a glass of wine which is paid for by an honesty system. Both rooms also have a TV and CD player. Guests have their own entrance giving them the freedom to come and go exactly as they please. Our breakfast menu uses predominantly local produce, including eggs from the WI market in Ide Hill, sausages and bacon from the local market, delicious home-produced preserves, fresh fruit and most of the time homemade bread. The breakfast is served in the very cosy setting of the dining room in the main house where the antique chandelier and warm interior will add to a truly wonderful breakfast experience. Our aim is to not just give our guests the very best but there is also the chance that our visitors will become more than that. Over the years many close and fun friendships have been formed whilst chatting over breakfast, planning days out or generally putting together a tailor made package to suit each guests’ individual need. The Old Manor House – so much more than just a B&B! ... more   less
