“Goodtime for off season”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

We have stayed here a few times and have found that this past weekend was the best. As most things have begun to open but the main crowds have not yet arrived. The room was clean, but was not ready on time. Desk stated they had a large turn over and staff was a little behind. We had a second room so we hung out there while we waited. We had an ocean front room with a storm door, so could leave inside door open while in room and enjoy more of the ocean front. Took a walk on the marginal way which was great. Went down town and most shops were open and running deals and savings. Overall great time.

A good value. .$99 per night in the towers...no ocean view but quiet and charming. The beds are small..good for cuddling. There are a lot of people staying at the main hotel so its a nice spot away from crowds. The one thing I noticed is babies in the hot tub..really??? Why would a parent put their baby in a 100 degree water? The hotel should say something if parents are that dumb!

We booked for one night and then extended it to another night. The first room we got was at the Portside building, closer to the hotel name sign. That was the only room available that night, as it was the beginning of spring break. The next day, the weather was very cold, and most of the people had vacated the rooms, so we requested a room on the Starboard side, facing the ocean. The views were just amazing !! Very serene and to see shades of sunrise and the waves crashing was just beautiful.

The room rates were high, $129 for the Portside room [with partial ocean view - no view from the room actually, but just step out of the room, and you can see the waters] The rate for the Starboard side room [ Ocean room ]on the first floor was $169.But since it was for only 2 days, we wanted to try it out. Restaurants are within walking distance, The Marginal Way walk is right in from of the hotel. You can walk to Perkins Cove to the restaurants/shops.

Their website is good and shows you the different rooms available and what views they offer. The staff is very helpful as well and will suggest options.

Definitely worth a try just for the views. The staff were very friendly and nice. It was a random place that we chose. But definitely happy that we visited Ogunquit. Having visited off season was a big plus, bcos of less crowds.

Room Tip: First floor rooms on the Starboard side [facing the beach ] has ocean view, but comes at a cost. But...

Very nice location for Ogunquit..Near everything from beach to restaurants. Room is spacious. Recommend for family.Bathroom is a bit small and indoor pool is small too. If you like walking, one of the best locations in town

Room Tip: Port side with partial view is pretty nice.

Spectacular beach, miles of flat and sandy beach. Ogunquit is a great walking town. Park your car and forget about it for the rest of your trip. Anchorage is located right on a scenic walkway that connects to the beach and Perkins Cove. All the shops are also within walking distance. The beach and Perkins Cove is much farther but if you like to walk, this is the place. The out door space around the pool was nice. The open air resaurant is right by the pool. Hot tubs too. Indoor pool is small. Not good if you are a swimmer and like to swim laps. Over all, it was nice. Not much to do if weather is bad. Many attractions in the area were not available due to time of year. (2nd week of April). There are many antique shops but you need to drive to get to them. Since we were not in the room much, we did not really need the room with a view. Room walls are thin and expect to hear your neighbors.

This is a great place to stay even in the off-season. The outdoor hot tubs make sitting outside very comfortable and it backs up to Marginal Way for a great hike along a lovely coast. The complimentary breakfast while not serving hot items, was still fairly hearty with yogurt cups and fresh fruit. This place is just a postcard. When can I go back?

Room Tip: Choose a room closest to the ocean.
