We spent our second stay at the Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa over Thanksgiving week (the first being for a few days during our honeymoon last year). The week could not have been any more wonderful or relaxing. Each day started with a DELICIOUS breakfast homemade by Tricia (the innkeeper) that honestly probably could've kept us full until dinner. Typically it was fruit/yogurt/cereal served along side something hot. A favorite being cinnamon french toast! Coffee was available all day- which was a great bonus.

As far as things to in the area-Tricia had great recommendations for things to do/eat in the area or nearby. She was incredibly knowledgeable of Maine in general and pointed us in the right direction of anything we were looking for!

The rooms are extremely cozy with their own fireplaces and luxurious bed linens. Even their towels are also crazy comfortable and soft. Some of the rooms definitely are smaller but still all have the same basic amenities such as a kuerig, mini fridge (with freezer), TV & DVD player. So if space is something you're worried about I'd ask which rooms might be better, but even the smaller ones are just as comfortable. Every detail of the inn lends to it's inviting and cozy atmosphere, including the cute sitting area on the main level. If you're staying in, there's also a great dvd library to borrow from. It seemed like they had a little bit of everything to choose from.

Mostly, though, what made this trip (and the one before it) exceptional is that Tricia is honestly the best innkeeper I've ever encountered. She is so warm & friendly & accommodating & just easy to have a nice conversation with. She's definitely big part of the reason we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else on our trips to Maine other than the lovely Nellie Littlefield Inn & Spa.

We try to get-away a few times per year, and Ogunquit is one of our favorite places for relaxation. The Nellie – is a perfect place to feel like you have a home, while away from home. Trish and the entire staff look after your every need, the place is so very clean and the breakfasts will set you up for the entire day – we never order lunch afterwards! The location is right in Ogunquit, so you are not driving anywhere once you park your car. The facility has an exercise room that will help you get an appetite for diner as well as on-site message rooms – All in All – a wonderful place for a get-away, charging that internal battery of yours! We will return.

We had the pleasure of staying in King 7, a larger room with a small balcony, gas stove, and large bathroom. The room was brightened by large windows looking out on trees, and the balcony had an unexpected distant view of the ocean. The bed was very, very comfortable.
The staff that welcomed us were both wonderfully friendly and accommodating, almost giving the feeling one was visiting friends (which is what you kind of hope for when going to smaller, B&B-type properties, isn't it?).
The "continental breakfast" unexpectedly included a delicious quiche (I enjoy a bit more than just cereals and breads in the morning, myself).
The only critique I might give is that the bedspread was a heavy brocade. Quite beautiful, except that if you wanted to remove it all you were left with was a thin blanket. Most hotels have moved on to down comforters and I find them much more comfortable, and they can act as spreads and provide warmth.
However, given the sort of place Nellie Littlefield seems to be, had I brought this up to an innkeeper, I'm sure I'd have had a comforter in no time.
All in all a lovely stay.

Room Tip: King 7 is lovely, spacious, and has a small balcony with a high bar table (probably so you can see t...

My husband and I recently enjoyed our second stay at the Inn. Last year we enjoyed a wonderful stay as a couple and this year we invited our adult children to join us. Our son arrived before us, and he was warmly welcomed inside by Tricia, the innkeeper and he enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee. Tricia is a very warm , welcoming, and attentive innkeeper and quite frankly is the nicest person we have met in our travels in Maine. The location can not be beat. The beach, shops, and cafes are only a few minutes walk from the Inn. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee which is available all day was excellent. The tea selection was impressive. We have now stayed in 3 different rooms and they are all beautifully decorated and spotless! Highly recommended!

We were lucky to book the last room for that weekend (Columbus weekend). It was our first visit to Ogunquit, so we didn't know what to expect. Well, everything was incredibly perfect. Lovely place, perfect in every way. Trisha was delightful and we couldn't have ask for more. Comfortable, charming and delicious food. Can't wait to be back.

Room Tip: We stay at the King Suite 3. we had a balcony and a reading room with a fireplace... couldn't as...

My husband and I recently stayed overnight at Nellie's. Trish was really friendly and helpful when we arrived. Our room was a King on the top floor, good size and very comfortable bed.

Parking at the back of the Inn very handy. Location couldn't be better - at heart of Ogunquit with restaurants and cute little shops on your doorstep.

Nice sandy beach a 5 min walk away. Inn provides chairs and beach towels.

Good DVD collection. My husband used the gym, sauna and steam room - good facilities.

Breakfast was great - cereal, scones, toast, eggs, bacon & home fries. You can sit in or out on the porch.

Would recommend a stay here!
