I stayed here 2 nights with my partner. As noted by other guests, the location is unbeatable, right at the main intersection of town across from the Front Porch, THE piano bar in Ogunquit. Unlike another reviewer, I found the owners very welcoming. I had a long conversation with one of them over breakfast, and he was interesting and charming. I stayed in a room that shares a bathroom with another room. The room and bathroom were very clean. No shampoo was provided, but plenty of soap and towels. I appreciated that they asked you to keep towels more than one night for environmental reasons, and unlike most hotels that claim they are saving the environment, they actually DID leave our towels unchanged and hanging where we left them in our room. (For the ardent environmentalist, however, they have liquid antibacterial soap for handwashing at various sinks, which is toxic for the ocean's fish...oh well, can't have it all.) Breakfast was continental plus, meaning hard boiled eggs and yoghurt, both of which were quite nice additions. In warm weather we might have eaten outside, but instead chose to eat inside. There is only one real table for eating, which seats 4, and otherwise, you make due on various sofas and cushioned chairs. The common areas were very nicely decorated, and included a piano and a TV with DVD player. In our room, there was small TV, no DVD player. I didn't ask them for reservations, so I can't comment on that point. The pool and hot tub looked nice and well maintained, but it was too cold for us to use at this time of year, so no further comment. They provide free internet access and, although we didn't avail ourselves of this, passes to a local gym. Two small dogs roam around - for those of you with allergies. The major downsides were that the walls were a bit thin, so you can hear others and even people in the bathroom across the hall. And our mattress was definitely on the firm side of comfortable. But, since we made our reservations only 2 nights before showing up, we can't complain since the rate we got was a bargain, comparable to what we were seeing in Orbitz for cheap motels in the area. Maybe it's the off season thing?

Two Village Square is an ideal gay getaway. It's in the middle of the restaurant and bar district of Ogunquit, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. About a ten minute walk down lanes to the beach and a 20 minute cliff walk to wonderful lobster shacks and boats on the Atlantic. The hosts, both from Pittsburgh, operate the inn in spring, summer and fall months. The breakfasts are good, the swimming pool delightful, and the hosts are helpful with places to eat and recommendations. It was a great way to start a trip through Maine.

Partner and I stayed here for a week. The inn is well maintained. Great location to town. You can walk almost anywhere in town within reasonable period of time. Featured some social hours with other guests. Met some nice people who seem to feel it is the only place to stay in town. Though the location is ideal, not sure if it is the only place to stay. The owners don't go out of their way to make you feel real welcome. After you check in, you are kind of on your own. Got the impression they are burnt out. I commend them for the maintenance of the facility but certainly not one of the more warm and welcoming places we have stayed at. Place got a little noisy a couple evenings or early mornings as the guests that would return to the inn for the night would slam doors or be a little loud outside the rooms. All and all, the place was a nice facility. Would possibly stay there again, knowing that their main focus isn't on the guest.

I stayed here recently with my partner....The location was perfect.
Located just a short hike away from town, up a hill, we were close to it all. It was a 2 minute walk to town and the popular nightlife establishments, and an easy 8-10 min. walk to the beach.

They have cocktail hours a few nights a week which is a fun touch. The owners were pleasant and inviting.
The pool was very clean and refreshing.
The interior decorating is absolutely fabulous. The Inn looks brand new! Everything was super-clean.....the a\c unit was very very quiet. They had beach/pool towels for guests to use, magazines to read, sitting areas to relax in. The continental breakfast consisted of plentiful healthy foods...who really needs bacon and syrup anyway! The entire inn seemed to cater mostly to gay men, but I knew this prior to booking.

My only suggestion...please buy some new mattresses and pillows...the ones in our room were terribly uncomfortable...this is the sole reason why I would say this inn is a smidge overpriced.
