We've stayed in many, many B&B's and Inns in both the US and Europe. Several of them were fabulous, but we think 2 Village Square is probably the best of any. Normally we could find one or more things that could be improved, but not here! This perfectly maintained Inn is high atop a hill overlooking the town and ocean. We ate delicious and varied breakfasts next to the pool every morning for 4 days. Every room is spotless. The decorating is lovely and extremely interesting. Our bed was so comfortable with the softest sheets. Best of all is Bruce-- he should be awarded Inn Keeper of the Year. He's so hard working, yet his humor, his interest in every guest, his willingness to stop what he is doing to answer any question or just chat, really contribute to a wonderful stay. LOVED this Inn!

Room Tip: Stayed in Queen 1, a small room overlooking the town and, in the distance, the ocean. The fairly la...

Another Fabulous weekend with the Gazebo Inn properties. Bruce made our stay wonderful. The bathroom in Room 11 was spacious and clean, the king size bed was comfortable. The sheets were relaxing and welcoming. The location is just perfect for walking around town and the views from the front deck were amazing. The variety of coffee and gourmet breakfast was fantastic. We have stayed in many B&B's and the Gazebo Inn properties are always the best to stay in. Looking forward to next year's stay.

Although my first choice, The Gazebo Inn, the sister property, was booked for my birthday weekend getaway, there was not one ounce of disappointment throughout our weekend stay. And 2 Village Square is quickly becoming my first choice. The inn is impeccable; no detail is overlooked. Bruce is so friendly and professional, a genuine class act. We first stayed at the The Gazebo Inn back in 2008 and while I am thrilled for Bruce and Scott and their well deserved success, a tiny part of me wishes these properties were still the best kept secret so plans didn't need to be made so far in advance! The couples massage was great...my husband said Amber's massage may have been the best one he has had...and he has had a lot! We and our friends are looking forward to our return in 2014!

Two years ago, Hurricane Irene aborted our first visit to the 2 village square inn, and at that time we knew we would have to return. It is truly a special place where staff endeavor to meet your every need, and our most recent visit met all our expectations. The grounds are meticulous, common areas tastefully decorated, and rooms well appointed. The sprawling front porch furnished with rockers overlooking the sea is so restful, the pool and hot tub area with "coffee house" type music softly piped in just the place to lounge on a late summer afternoon. This particular Saturday, a cocktail hour for guests of the inn featured craft beers, wine, mixed drinks, homemade meatballs, shrimp, cheese and veggie platters- all complimentary! It was great fun to mingle with other guests before dinner. What sets this inn apart from others we have been to are the innkeepers, especially Bruce. He is genuinely the nicest guy who is so friendly and accommodating with everyone! I believe this is why there are so many repeat visitors. I recommend this inn to all adults who enjoy fine food ( I forgot to mention the incredible breakfasts- some of the best blueberry pancakes we have ever had), attention to detail, and being pampered!

An extremely well-run B&B with a spectacular view of the Atlantic from the deck. From the ocean view deck it is a hop to the heated pool and hot tub which are located to the side of this renovated grand Victorian building. This is a high-end inn with top of the line details and a great location for couples looking for a lovely ocean-view getaway complete with comfy rockers on the deck. The co-owner/manager Bruce can direct you to very good restaurants and specialty shops and activities if you need some tips. The staff is extremely helpful and on this trip as I was traveling alone so it was great to have such knowledgeable and gracious staff to help me find day trips, restaurants, et. al. The room was beautifully equipped, (private bath) spotless and peaceful. Ogunquit is a small town with an orientation to the water, dining, walking and just hanging out. Easy day trips to Portsmouth, NH; Kennebunkport and Portland, ME.

Room Tip: If it really matters to you ask for a room with an ocean view, even though you will have a great vie...

Dan and I have been staying at 2Village Square for the past 4 years and Bruce and his staff always make us feel at home. Love the location close to the beach as well as all the shops and restaurants. We usually combine our stay with a visit to the Ogunquit Playhouse which is also a short walk. Love Bruce's meatballs on the Saturday night meet and mingle during the summer months. The rooms are always clean and maintained meticulously, Bruce and Scott along with Peter, Trish and the rest of their staff always take such good care of us.

Thanks, Dan and Tom

Went to 2Village Square Inn for our Anniversary this year in April! Great Service, very friendly staff. Great Rooms, Great Views, ocean is in the distance but set up on the hill, the porch with rocking chairs is to die for. Great location, walking distance to down, literally down the hill and right across from the Front Porch. We will be back for sure!
