Sitting nightly upon our vacation balcony overlooking Shore Rd and watching the pizza being delivered nonstop on a scooter from La Pizzeria we decided that it must be pretty good if they are that busy. So, the next night we gave it a try. Well, we were right, it was VERY good. We were lucky that when we arrived there was a table just opening up on the overhead deck. With a glass of Chianti and a lobster pizza we sat back and enjoyed the goings and comings of our fellow tourists. Most enjoyable dinner and show(the tourists). Next visit to Ogunquit, this will be one of our dining destinations.
Hey, the pizza could have had more lobster, but it’s lobster, there can always be more.

We wanted a break from lobster rolls, so we inquired at our hotel receptionist Wendy at The Aspinquid about a casual pizza Resturant. We didn't want a typical sub shop and La Pizzeria was perfect. We were able to have a beer and a glass of wine with our caprese and pizza and it was far from typical sub shop atmosphere on the inside. Not fancy, but a nicely decorated slate rock wall and small tables. Wait staff was very pleasant and there is al seating on the outside farmers porch where you can watch the beach goers hauling their boogie boards and towels back from the beach and the tourists strolling by. The caprese was some of the best we've had and the pizza had just the right amount of spices and tangy tomato sauce. We were pleased. It was a great choice! Thank you for a pleasant meal!

Order a chicken, penne and broccoli pasta dish to go. $15.95 plus tax. It was soooooo disappointing! There was virtually no chicken or broccoli - just penne and some oily garlic sauce. I was so disgusted with the food, I called back the restaurant to tell them that the "entree" portion was very small and almost no chicken or broccoli. Alex, the employee who answered the phone said, "I just work here". He offered no satisfaction.

We apologize you were not satisfy with your pasta dish and I must make u aware that your review was actually not what occurred when you called.
Alex did speak to you and told you he was just a employee and he handed the phone over to the manger who ask you what can he do to make you happy and offered to deliver another pasta or even suggested to refund your money as you were being persistent to your pasta quality being a appetizer portion in a 6 inch tin which actually was 7 inches.
You refused all the mangers offers and stated “I just want to complain and from reading your other reviews it seems you do that a lot !
Once again we are sorry we could not make you happy as our goal here at Lapizzeria for the past 28 years has always been customer satisfactory and good service.

La Pizzeria launched me into Lobster Pizza Heaven! This was our first trip to Maine and we were so charmed by the beauty of Ogunquit. If you have never had lobster pizza, then you MUST go to La Pizzeria. I have had lobster pizza before in Boston, but this one here is by far the BEST! I watched the owner Andrew hand toss my pizza... dough flying through the air and it then is arrives all white and covered in big chunks of tender lobster.
My husband ordered a delicious calzone with sausage and mushrooms... huge with super yummy marinara for dipping.
Ogunquit is packed with places to eat so you may think... Why pizza? People have been lining up to eat here for years and now I know why.
