This is a very clean and nice beach. The beach does not have big waves but is a beautiful beach. It was crowded but that is expected. The tide was low so there was a ton of beach.

Lots of accessibility points - trolly service was very reasonably priced and came around every 15 minutes - very convenient and well maintained - clean, lots of parking, etc.

Love the beach. Just can't say enough good about it. As stated previously in other reviews, just plan around high tide.

We managed to go almost at the peak of high tide (and our B&B hosts tried to warn us!) NOT too much beach left to sit on, but it was later in the day, so we did find a spot. IT's still a wonderful, long beach, and PRiME for people-watching!!

As a child I grew up going to the private Moody Beach and staying in a cottage this area has been what I call a beach. At low tide there is so much room that even when it is crowded. High tide can be tight but I am used to it. We always skip the main beach and head over to Footbridge Beach. The beach is all sand and no rocks. Even the Ogunquit river at high and mid tides can be fun for families and there is always people crabbing there.
