“Great food, prices, people and excellent entertainment”

We were at Post Road Tavern on a Friday night and we had an excellent time! We will definitely be back to this little gem of a place. This place is away from the congested, over-priced downtown area and is well worth the venture. Our first impression was that the place was very friendly. It seems lots of locals are there which is always a good sign. There was an absolutely fantastic acoustic duo, October Road, performing...a husband and wife duo with a truly fabulous music selection and amazing harmonies. They even had some of their own songs that were very good. The bartender was friendly and professional and the waitstaff was very helpful with dining suggestions and beer choices. The place is also a brewery...which we did not know ahead of time...and the beer was great. The menu offered good selections and the prices were reasonable especially when compared with other restaurants in Ogunquit. We loved the pub crisps! We visit Ogunquit a few times a year and are do happy to have happened upon this great place. You must go to Post Road Tavern...especially on a Friday night for the live music with October Road..you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

“Great food”

One of the least expensive restaurants we went to and every bit as good as most. The service and the price were the best. Would definitely go back.

“A good pub for a nice meal”
Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

Read lovely reviews on here so stopped in last night. Was greeted by an empty hostest stand for about 3-4 min which was not welcoming. When the waitress appeared she was very friendly and I saw she was doubling as sole waitress and host. Our meals were very good, homeade fries :) beer was good just not attended by waitress very often but she was very busy. Would go back.

“Hidden Gem in Ogunquit”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

This place is excellent! The food is homemade and always fresh. Portions are hardy and the prices reasonable. Beer selection has always been above average and now with the addition of their own brewing company even better. This is a family owned and operated business that never disappoints. Just wish we had a place like this back home. Try the chicken wings and pork sliders, both are excellent.
