This charming restaurant with a 50's flair is a delicious, friendly and relaxing way to start your day. Just steps from quaint Perkins Cove, this cafe is popular with tourists and locals alike for a light or hearty breakfast. Many selections have a gourmet touch like Bananas Foster but granola ( made by the owner herself) and standard bacon and egg dishes are also available. The many guests drinking coffee outside on the patio, while waiting to be seated, are a testimony to how many folks enjoy and return to Cafe Amore time and time again. If you're in the Ogunquit area don't miss this great breakfast adventure.

Absolutely the best breakfast place my wife and I have ever been to! We were in Maine for the weekend on a shopping trip to LL Bean and Kittery and just happened on Amore when exploring the coast line on Sat. AM It was so delicious, we went back on Sunday AM. The food was excellent and the service was warm and friendly. Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra played softly in the background. They also had a neat little gift shop where you could buy some of their excellent coffee to take home with you. This place must be absolutely jammed during the summer season.

I had a fantastic breakfast at Cafe Amore this past weekend. Our party was greeted at the door by, who we later learned was, the owner. She was very pleasant and seated us immediately, asking if we were happy with our seating placement. Our server promptly came to the table to ask about drinks, to tell us the specials and offered us recommendations depending on what we were leaning towards. The cafe was impeccable, the decor was quaint and the tables were spaced out appropriately, there was no crowding! The server checked in on us often without being overbearing or interruptive. The owner came by towards the end of meal and asked how our experience was and talked about how 'hospitality' is a skill that she demands of her employees, how she is present during hours of operation and how she feels that her employees are important to her and in turn, the customers are important to all of their success. Most importantly...the food was fantastic! Many choices, seasonal specials and interesting twists in a classic breakfast menu! I will definitely be returning. Yum Yum Yum!
