We were in Ogunquit and took the recommendation of friends to stay here. They were so right! The staff was most helpful and our room was terrific. The spa tub (Room 45) was very relaxing. The continental breakfast at the Sea Bell was great as well. We did not use the fitness center in York, so I cannot comment on that. We will surely stay here again.

What a great place to stay!!! Kate, at reception, was very friendly and helpful. The room has a wonderful view of the ocean and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, unlike alot of places where your back is killing you after a nights stay. Very relaxing place to be. I have stayed here before and shall return in the near future...You'll love this place.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the ocean are quieter.

I have stayed at this property before with girlfriends and have always enjoyed the gorgeous view, clean rooms and proximity to downtown and the beach. I was fortunate enough to snag a room during a beautiful weekend in October where the temperatures spiked up to 85 degrees. It was quite an experience to see a packed beach and people swimming in the ocean in October!

My mom and I stayed in room #18 which is an end unit with a private deck and direct view to the water/beach. I am consistently impressed with this property. The furnishings and decor are basic, however, the rooms are immaculate and nicely kept. The motel has free internet, coffee/tea/water station, coin laundry, ice machines and offers complimentary continental breakfast with breads, muffins, yogurts, coffee, fruit and pastries.

Right next door to the property is Genesis Day spa with very reasonable rates for massages, facials and nails. The highlight of our stay was going to see Ms. Saigon at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The performances at this theater are top notch and parallel broadway productions. As always, the Front Porch bar and restaurant is a must stop for lunch/dinner or to enjoy the upstairs piano bar. The Rose Cove cafe was a favorite for fresh lobster salad rolls.

We revisited this hotel for a September weekend with our two teenage children in tow this time. We stayed in room 27 on the second floor because it provided an extra bed, so we had a queen a double and a single which was perfect as my kids are too old to share a bed. Once again we decided that this location is the best in Ogunquit. Watching the ocean and the tides on the sandbar is spectacular from here. We were pleasantly surprised by the addition of fruit and yogurt at the Continental breakfast, plus, it is now served until 10:00 am, which is more reasonable for those of us on holiday.

We also were very surprised that despite the 65 degree daytime temperatures the pool was a comfy 82 or so. It was cold when you got out!

Our room has not been updated, old TV, old DVD (free movies at office) older furnishings, but was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Having stayed in a brand new Marriott Residence the night before it was obvious how outdated these rooms are. However, we love it so much so that I booked the same room for another weekend in April before leaving. We saw numerous others re-booking as they checked out too.

Room Tip: Look at the website with the diagram to choose your room. We were on the second floor this time wh...

The location is great right in town, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the Marginal Way. There is a nice large deck overlooking a tidal river and the ocean which is great for for drinks and sunsets. The rooms have fridges, microwaves and coffeemaker. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was the extra cot we requested, it was a terrible mattress that sunk in the middle and it was very squeaky every time one rolled over. In spite of this, I would stay here again without reservation.

Because making reservations was on the later side we were in Room 22, which has no view - it's in the hallway.
The room was well appointed with a nice seating are - sofa opened to a bed, flat screen TV, chair. The king bed was comfortable enough - especially since I always bring my own pillow. Nicely appointed bath (full) with lots of counter and shelf space for toiletries and a big closet. Room was very clean.
Continental (complimentary) breakfast was included and had a nice selection of goodies and good coffee - juice, bagels, home made sweet breads , yogurt, granola, good cereal selection served in a lovely building on the backside of the hotel and staffed by lovely people. Nice outdoor dining area.
There are several areas where you have panoramic views of Ogunquit - down the Marginal way. There are two lower decks where you can sit with food or drinks and enjoy the scenery. They have comfy Adirondack chairs up at the top seating area.
All in all a lovely place to spend a week at the beach.
Never got to the pool (we're beach people) but it looked very clean and towels are available.
Another nice amenity is a lounge in the middle section of the motel. It's stocked with coffee and tea in the morning and in the afternoon there's iced tea and water. They also provide a computer with internet access and there are a table and chairs for people to play board games, as well as comfy seating and a flat screen TV. They also advertise wi-fi but we had a little problem with it.

Room Tip: Book an ocean view - it's a stunning view of the ocean and the river.
