This was our first trip to Cornerstone and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu has many choices and everything we saw crossing the restaurant as we ate looked very good. The regular (artisanal) pizzas offer enough for two to three people. They are very thin crust with a real crunch.

The beer list is huge. Service is very attentive and personable. The bar is amazing.

This is well worth the choice to eat here.

We met friends on Sunday evening for dinner. The restaurant is located in Ogunquit center so parking is always an issue. That is not a negative for the restaurant, it is just the way Ogunquit always is.
It was too chilly to sit outside so we waited for a table inside. We were told it would be 15 minutes for a table to clear. It was exactly that amount of time. Our waitress was wonderful. We had an appetizer of cherry tomatoes stuffed with sausage (fabulous) that four of us shared (more than enough for 4 people). We each had pizzas (chicken and fig with balsamic drizzle) and regular cheese with pepperoni. They were both delicious. Crusts are thin, cooked perfectly, not burned. They have a huge menu for drinks, especially different beers both bottled and draft. We would definitely go back again next summer when we return.

After a long day on the beach three of us decided to try this place out and see what all the hype was about. The place looked new and trendy and has a prime location. That's pretty much where the accolades stop. When we were seated by the bathroom at a high top we were completely ignored for over 10 minutes. We were going to get up and leave when someone finally approached and took our drink order. Drinks arrived another 10 minutes plus later. If we hadn't ordered something alcoholic we would have just left at that point. We ordered one of their pizzas which to their credit was presented and cooked well. Service the entire time was non-existent and it took us 2 hours to eat there. La Pizzeria is a far better option for people looking for real decent priced food, clean environment and great, fast and efficient service.

Thank you for trying Cornerstone and for taking the time to write a review for the travel community.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed our pizzas and sorry to hear you did not have a satisfactory service experience. Service is something that we are continually aiming to improve and comments like yours about the wait time while sitting in the bar area before being acknowledged by the waiter/bartender help us to do that.

We hope you had a great vacation in Ogunquit.

I saw all these 5 star reviews and I thought it must be a great place. Labor Day Monday evening, we decided to give it a go. The summer crowds were thinning and we figured it would be good timing. We arrived around 7:30 pm and asked the hostess for a table for 2. She let us know it would be about 15 minutes for a table, which was fine. The outside patio was closed since it had rained much of the day. About 20 minutes went by and the hostess told us that it would be a while longer but we were welcome to sit at one of the high tops near the bar. We agreed and took one of the open tables. After sitting there and being ignored by all of the staff hustling by, I went back to the hostess to ask if there was table service there or if we were supposed to order from the bar. She said the bartenders would come around to take our order. We tried in vain for the next 10 minutes to catch someone's attention with no success. Two seats then opened up at the bar so we decided to just move there. It was now about 8:10. We ordered a couple of beers and checked out the menu. The beer selection was good but the bar itself was quite dirty. The well under the taps was filled with beer so the bottoms of the glasses were soaked with warm beer. I prefer the lobster Mac and cheese, my partner order the haddock. We should have just ordered the pizza. The lobster Mac and cheese was disgusting. It smelled like urine, and I refused to even try it after moving it around on the plate like I was a 10 year old child. The bartender was polite about returning it and I then ordered the chicken parm. That took about 15 more minutes to come out, during which time my partners fish had gone stone cold. The chicken wasn't much better. I made chicken tenders from a freezer pack for my nephew earlier that weekend which tasted 10 times better. I barely touched the meal but at this point we just wanted out of there.

Save your money and go somewhere else. I ended up having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich when we got home.

The pizza was very fresh with a thin crust. They serve specialty pizzas which are very different. We ate outside and enjoyed watching all the people walk by. We actually went back for a second time to try a squash pizza which was wonderful. Would definitely go back again.
