“Went to Sixpoint Beer Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

Fantastic food and atmosphere and the beer list (though I didn't partake in anything outside of Sixpoint) looked superb. Rare and wonderful. The pizza dough is fantastic but the creativity of the toppings is truly the star of the show. Oh and the mushroom duxelles is superb as well. I will make sure I make it back to this restaurant as much as I can. My new favorite pizza place in the Wells Kennebunk Ogunquit corridor.

“Cournerstone has turned and will last like a stone of they keep focused on the customer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

Ok, this review may sound biased, trust me it's not. Cornerstones is a perfect name if you know what the previous location was, mixed Tshiirt and ice cream shop. The fact is, this is a whole new place. It's name is "Cornerstones" and they probably don't realize they have turned a corner and like a stone can stay for ever if they continue to do what they do.

Location - 5, perfect dead center of town
Family enviroment- 5 Can't lie to you, It's easy access for the kiddies
Food - 5 outstanding, everytrhing is baked, Wow awesome food and it's good for ya!
Ambiance- 5 they don't pretend to be anything else
Noise sound level - 5 somehow, not by design these guys have hit it right. They way the roof is set up cuts or distributes a lot of the sound. 47 people in the bldg of about 1100 SF and it was quiet comfortable. Not like we couldn't hear anybody else. but everbody was at a reasonable tone. VERY nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beer selection - 5 12 new beers on tap and 32 pulls (tap handles ( have passed through this place and are up on the left hand side of the wall when you walk in. Look up and to your left, the co owner Mike is trying to keep it fresh and inventive.

Desert, they didn't push it but when the waitress walked by and it wasn't for us we wanted in, it looked so good. BTW, it was!! Apple pie

Things they could inprove on - Better Single malt Scotch selection lsuggest a Glenn Fidich +18 year

Get some Firefly Ice Tea Vodka on the bar for summer time drinks especially where they will have a new outside venue with live music.

We walked in and Blues Travelers was playing, Wow what a awesome surprise!!!

Cristy and Mike the Co owners do care, want to hear feedback and are open to suggestions.

What was the best for me, simple menu, fantastic food (Bacon n Apple Pizza) was availble.

You must try this place!

“Just wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

I was dying to try this restaurant based on both TripAdvisor reviews and a strong recommendation from Scott at the Gazebo Inn, where we stayed. We stopped by for a late lunch and ordered a sausage pizza -- kind of a ho-hum choice next to the other kinds on the menu, but it was absolutely delicious, and nothing like I've tasted elsewhere! The house-made sausage really makes it spectacular. I wish we had the time to try some of the other pizzas. The Cornerstone's menu is relatively small, but I like that -- it means that a lot of thought and attention goes into crafting each dish. They have a full bar with a big selection of craft beers too -- the BF and I both had a wonderfully smooth winter porter called Santa's Butt, sadly unavailable in the local stores. :)

Service was quick, friendly and attentive, and the bathrooms were clean. Since we were there in January we couldn't eat outdoors, but the Cornerstone's funky layout ensures you can watch your pizza being tossed and cooked from anywhere in the restaurant. All in all I would definitely recommend the Cornerstone and would go again in a heartbeat!

Nice atmosphere, great selection of beers. Our food was above average too. Between the two of us, we enjoyed the sweet salad, chicken wings, potato soup and pumpkin mac & cheese....all very tasty!
